The former "Jackass" actor claimed, "My body was shutting down, and I went into four seizures."
Bam Margera, a former "Jackass" actor, said that during medical treatment for COVID around a month ago, he was "essentially proclaimed dead."
On Thursday's episode of frequent collaborator Steve-"Wild O's Ride!" podcast, Margera discussed a "gnarly" case of the illness he had in December.
Margera said that he spent eight days in the hospital and that he was essentially declared dead on December 8, Elvis Presley's birthday.
"My body was shutting down, and I had four seizures that lasted between 10 and 20 minutes," he added.
I chewed my tongue so hard on the fourth one that it almost fell out.
He claimed that finally, his tongue became so large and puffy that it couldn't fit inside his mouth.
He said, "And I was drinking the diseased blood, which also brought me pneumonia.
I was having my seventh seizure when the shaman rushed me to the hospital, and I was unable to breathe without a tube down my mouth.
He "blacked out," according to Margera, while in the hospital.
He claimed to have been there for only a few hours and to have awakened five days later when he spoke to Steve-O.
